Is there life out there in the heavens? Are we going to be attacked by Aliens? The answer is there for you to discover in the attraction Alien Attack, where you will be pursued by aliens and will need to defeat them with your weapons of destruction. Blackpool’s first live action event, this is a highly enjoyable experience because you are not only involved in a theatrical experience, you are participating in it. You will not make it out if you don’t fight well, and the fate of mankind rests in your hands. What about getting everyone out safely? As a soldier fighting an alien attack there is no time to think about that sort of thing. Fast and furious, aliens attack from every side, and you and every member of your party need to have your wits about you in order to escape death. Area 51 legend comes alive Area 51 in Nevada, U.S.A., is the stuff of legend and the inspiration for UFO conspiracy theories. The story goes that in the 1950s the U.S. military discovered a crashed alien craft, and managed to rescue an alien and keep it in a secret underground military base. Blackpool’s Alien attack is based on that legend. A second crashed alien spacecraft sees the U.S military bring the damaged alien to England, where you need to ensure the thing stays under guard and does not present a danger to the world. You will experience terror as you run through mazes of smoky tunnels resembling the set from the hit film ‘Alien’. In this cult 90’s file Sigourney Weaver and her diminishing crew attempt to kill an alien intruder, who proves quite difficult to catch. Meanwhile the cat living on the space ship does not come off too well against the evil alien attacks. This sends the Sigourney Weaver character into a revenge filled rage, and she eventually defeats the alien. This time, anyway. Another four sequel films were made. ‘Alien’ was one of the first films to explore the idea that aliens were not necessarily friendly green men who would share technology with earth and love chatting to its inhabitants. Blackpool’s Alien Attack taps into the idea that aliens are very bad indeed! To locate this attraction you must first use your military training to locate the Golden Mile Centre at The Central Promenade. Be prepared to be thrilled and attacked!
