Lytham Hall Art in the Park

Fifteen minute’s drive from Blackpool, Lytham Hall St Annes is a stunning Grade two listed Georgian House, regarded as the finest example of the era in Lancashire. In addition to the summer exhibition “Art in the Park”, the immaculate grounds showcase a beautiful outdoors garden display in full colour and full bloom. Wander through the grounds of Lytham Hall, and view some of the stunning art on display. You may see the famous wildlife careering past, including wild birds, ‘boxing’ hares and lambs playing in the fields. Lytham Hall Holds Weekly Events in Summer Over the next two months there’s an exciting array of cultural events on at Lytham Hall. The venue encourages enthusiasts, collectors and artists from the Blackpool and Lancashire region to display their wares and hold events. Al l the events below do attract a modest admission charge: July 16 – Outdoor Theatre – Mikado – by Illyria – enjoy this mock operatic musical in the fabulous grounds, and bring your own picnic and chairs. July 28 – The Flower Power Show – a stunning collection of local, hand-reared plants for sale by quality nurseries specialising in UK shrubs, unusual plants, and rare finds. August 4 – The Classic Car Show – come in your summer suit and day dress to view over 300 classic and commercial vehicles, classic motorcycles and trucks, with trade stands, judging events and prizes, as well and competitions and fun for the whole family. August 6 – Countryside Ranger Events – Bush Craft for Beginners – Camouflage – especially for teenagers and those aged 8-14, learn the art of bushcraft and have a hands-on lesson in how not to be seen. The beautiful grounds provide plenty of camouflage opportunities, alongside a day of fun with friends or with the group as a whole. There’s a few Ranger events over the summer so keep an eye on this fun program .  August 13 – Art in the Park – Watch local and national artists, painters and photographers at work, and pick up a stunning piece for your home. Looking for an original, a print, or something no-one else has? Get yourself along to Art in the Park and view the wide array of talent on display. Lytham Hall is also running art classes and creative sessions over the summer for those who want to work with materials like charcoal and clay.
