Reservation Policies
The Carn Brae Booking Terms & Conditions Thank you for choosing to book with The Carn Brae we look forward to welcoming you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below. Terms & Conditions are in place to protect you and the hotel from any misunderstandings or shortfalls. No allowance will be made for failure to read these terms and conditions. All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit. Deposits are strictly not refundable. All Credit Card transactions have a surcharge of £1.50 per transaction. Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowance is made for meals booked and not taken or for the occasional absence from meals. The Hotel reserves the right to alter the times of meals and other events without prior notice. Whilst we make every effort to fulfill, we unfortunately cannot guarantee requests and our failure to do so does not constitute A breach of contract. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel Or change your reservation; we reserve the right to do so. If this situation does arise you will receive the option of alternative arrangements or a full refund. Arrival Your accommodation will be available to you from 2.00pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive earlier than the agreed time as we will be busy preparing your rooms. It is important to notify the hotel of your approximate arrival time. Please complete this section on your booking form for this purpose. If no notification is received by the Hotel then the accommodation may be re-let after 10pm on that date. Your room must be vacated by 10.30am on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night's accommodation. In accordance with the no-smoking legislation, the Carn Brae is a smoke free premises and smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Carn Brae. Failure to adhere to this no smoking policy will result in an additional charge of £100. The Hotel accepts no responsibility for guests' property or valuables unless deposited for safe keeping in the Hotel safe. Accounts must be settled upon Arrival or the day before Departure. Please note that we do not accept personal or business account. Cheques for balance payments. Building Society Cheques or Bankers Drafts may be accepted at reception without prior notice. Payment may also be made in cash, credit or debit card (we do not accept American Express) Payments for group bookings of 15 people or over are required minimum of 6 weeks prior to arrival. If you cancel a guaranteed room less than 24 hours prior to arrival or in the case of no-show, you will be charged for one night's accommodation per room booked. Rooms sold at special or reduced rates may not be cancelled. Cancellation must be confirmed in writing. Holiday insurance is strongly recommended to all our guests. This should include cover, for theft, loss and damage of possessions. The management reserves the right to curtail any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to the contract cause detriment to the well being and comfort of other guests or staff. Guests or visitors who cause damage to Hotel property will be liable for full replacement and labour costs. This includes damage such as, but not limited to, wet beds, broken light fittings and stained bed or bathroom linen. The Management is proud of the standards of accommodation and service provided to all our guests. We trust that you have a trouble free and enjoyable holiday. In the unlikely event you should have cause For criticism or suggestion during your stay you must bring it to the attention of the manager immediately in order to Give us a fair opportunity to make every effort to resolve the situation. It is considered unreasonable to make any criticism After departure from the Hotel, should the matter not have been raised During your stay. The Carn Brae will not enter into replying to complaint emails, letters, phone calls or faxes or any form of Compensation after the event. We are a family hotel and welcome children of all ages. We do not offer a baby listening service. (all guests under 14 years of age) must not be left unattended in bedrooms. All Our Bedrooms are Non Smoking. Directions: Arriving By Car: From the M6 junction 32 follow the M55 to Blackpool and take the sign A5230. Follow the Airport signs until you pass the airport on the left. Turn right at the T-junction onto the Promenade, the Carn Brae Hotel is on the first block of hotels on the right. Arriving By Train: We’re only a 10 minutes’ walk from Squires Gate Train Station or the Pleasure Beach Train Station, or less than 5 minutes in taxi. Arriving By Coach: Talbot Road Bus Station, Take a Taxi to the Carn Brae it will take about 10 - 15 min depending on traffic. Arriving By Air – Blackpool Airport: The airport is about 1 miles away a taxi will cost you around £4. Parking: Parking is Free outside and without restrictions in the Crescent and surrounding vicinity
